This game is a good introduction if you are looking into D&D games like, or at least it was for me.
When i was looking for game turn base strategy rpg, i actually made the mistake of playing Baldur’s gate 3 first, why? well, when you know nothing about D&D and the mechanics it can be pretty difficult, game is pretty good but still i felt overwhelmed, but i finish it and love it ( it was the beta ).
But at the time i was hungry for more and i remember DoS 2 from somewhere, i play it and loooove it so much, i don’t even know how many runs i did, i invited friends to play.
I would say its better to start with DoS 2 than BG 3 because the gameplay and system are more simple for the player, once the player finish the game they can easily understand BG 3 mechanics.
