Fans of “The Rising of the Shield Hero” can get an early start on season three excitement. Global advanced screening events are being held before the October premiere. The first event is in Los Angeles on July 3, with others in Austin, Paris, Mannheim, Toronto, and Tokyo leading up to the release.
Season three picks up where the story left off, with Naofumi Iwatani and his team protecting Melromarc from the Waves of Catastrophe. Expect another thrilling season of fantasy and adventure as the Shield Hero and allies face new challenges and enemies.

About the anime
In the library, Iwatani Naofumi, an average otaku, stumbles upon a mysterious book that transports him to an alternate world. Here, he is chosen as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes, alongside the sword, spear, and bow. Their mission? To combat the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero.
Filled with anticipation for this new adventure, Naofumi embarks on this quest with his comrades. Yet, his excitement is short-lived as he is betrayed, leading to a loss of everything he holds dear – his reputation, his finances, and his dignity. With no one to trust, he enlists the help of Raphtalia, a slave girl, to face the Waves and this foreign land.
All this leaves Naofumi wondering if he can ever restore his situation, trapped as he is in this desperate state.
