During the San Diego Comic Con on Friday, Adult Swim unveiled the enchanting opening credits sequence for the highly anticipated anime series, “Rick and Morty: The Anime.” 

Set to the captivating tune of “Love is Entropy,” the song is powerfully performed by none other than OC from Code of Zero, alongside the talented Cameron Earnshaw. Notably, the lyrics were beautifully crafted by OtoneZ, who also composed and arranged the mesmerizing music.

Adding to the excitement, the video treats viewers to an uplifting message from acclaimed director Takashi Sano.

For the upcoming anime series, “Rick and Morty: The Anime,” expect a fresh and original storyline that skillfully weaves together familiar themes and events from the beloved main animated series.

Leading the creative team is the renowned Takashi Sano, known for his work on “Tower of God,” who will be taking on the roles of both writer and director for the 10-episode series. 

Supported by the esteemed Telecom Animation Film, recognized for their contributions to iconic series like “Lupin III” and “Shenmue the Animation,” Sano brings his expertise and vision to the project. 

Notably, Sano has previously directed the well-received animated shorts “Rick and Morty vs. Genocider” and “Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil).”

Producing the series is Sola Entertainment, with a team consisting of Maki Nagano, Max Nishi, and Takenari Maeda. 

Bringing their collective talents and passion to the table, they ensure the series becomes a true masterpiece. 

Overseeing the animation production is Yu Kiyozono from TAF, while Yuuki Kakizoe, also from TAF, serves as the dedicated assistant producer, contributing to the smooth operation and success of the project.
