Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Unveils Riveting ‘Shibuya Incident’

The official website for the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime has released a promotional video and visual for the “Shibuya Incident” arc. This arc will span 18 episodes and is set to begin on August 31. The video provides a sneak peek into the opening theme song titled “SPECIALZ” performed by King Gnu.

The second season premiered on July 6 on MBS, TBS, and 28 affiliated channels. Crunchyroll is streaming the season in various regions, including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The season will run for two cours, covering both the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” and the “Shibuya Incident” arcs from Gege Akutami’s original manga. The “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc aired from July 6 to August 3, followed by two compilation episodes on August 10 and 17. The “Shibuya Incident” arc will commence on August 31.

The new season’s description reads: “This is the innocent spring that the two strongest lost forever. Itadori Yuji took Ryomen Sukuna into his own body in June 2018. Okkotsu Yuta freed Orimoto Rika from her curse in December 2017. And now it’s spring 2006.
