Slam Dunk is a anime about basketball and focuses on Hanamichi Sakuragi, a delinquent outcast and leader of a gang – who was rejected fifty times.
I think this is one of my favorites animes of all time.
So yes they play basketball but it focuses more on the problems of sakuragi and the struggles on his life, and how playing change his life.
